After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles, signing commercially with Hugh Leon at Coast to Coast and booking his first national spot for Sprint, along with multiple student films, indie projects, and web series. In 2010, after a brief stint in New York, Eric returned to Los Angeles and transitioned into management. He gained experience through internships at Sanders Armstrong Caserta Management and Sovereign Talent Agency while working full-time in the restaurant industry. He later joined Innovative Artists, where he was promoted from the mailroom to working directly under the Senior VP and head of the VO Department within 60 days. As a working talent manager at NOVA Talent Group, I regularly review actors’ materials when deciding who to bring onto my roster and submit to casting. Through that process, I see firsthand what makes an actor’s package stand out — and what often holds strong performers back from getting representation or opportunities.

These consultations are designed to share that perspective so actors can strengthen their materials and present themselves more competitively in the industry.

Actors often tell me this session saves them months or years of trial and error.

Representation Readiness Sessions for Actors:

Professional feedback on your materials from the perspective of a working talent manager.
Actors often reach out to agents and managers without fully understanding how their materials are being evaluated from the representation side of the industry.

These sessions are designed to provide insight into that process, helping actors better understand how their current package is being perceived and what adjustments may help strengthen their positioning when approaching representation and casting opportunities.

What These Sessions Are

Representation Readiness Sessions are hour long one-on-one consultations designed to give actors honest, practical feedback on their materials from the perspective of a working talent manager. The goal is to help you better understand how your current package is being perceived by representatives and casting, and what adjustments may help you present yourself more competitively in the industry.

Many actors approach agents and managers without fully knowing how their materials are being evaluated. These sessions are intended to provide clarity about how your materials read professionally and what steps could help strengthen your overall presentation.

What We Review

During the session we typically review:

• Resume formatting and presentation
• Headshot selection and branding
• Casting profiles (Actors Access, Casting Networks, etc.)
• Demo reel or recent self-tapes
• Casting type and market positioning
• Overall representation readiness

What Happens During the Session

During the consultation, we will look at your materials together and discuss:

• What your materials currently communicate to representatives & casting directors
• Any areas that may be holding you/your package back
• How your current materials position you in the market
• Practical steps you can take to strengthen your overall package

Most actors leave the session with a clearer understanding of how they are currently being perceived professionally and a short list of specific adjustments that can help improve their materials and positioning.

Who These Sessions Are For

Representation Readiness Sessions are often helpful for actors who are:

Preparing to seek representation
• Currently submitting to agents or managers
• Unsure how their materials are being evaluated
• Looking to strengthen their professional package

Consultation Policy

These consultations are educational in nature and are not connected to representation decisions.

Booking a session does not influence whether an actor will be represented by NOVA Talent Group. Representation decisions are made separately and are based on materials, performance, and roster needs.

Actors who choose not to book a consultation will never be disadvantaged when submitting materials for representation.

Consultations are designed to provide professional feedback that actors can use to strengthen their materials when approaching representation and casting opportunities throughout the industry.

Before the session, you will have the opportunity to send your current materials (resume, headshots, casting profiles, and any recent self-tapes), so I can review them in advance and provide feedback specific to your work.

Sessions are limited each month due to my management schedule.

Many actors find that understanding how their materials are being evaluated from the representation side helps them make clearer decisions about what to adjust, improve, or focus on next in their career.
