NOVA Talent Group's Three-Level Literary Consultation Program
Three Ways to Get a Literary Manager's Perspective on Your Writing
Maybe you've just finished your first screenplay and aren't sure if it's ready for the industry.
Maybe you've been rewriting the same script for months and need a fresh perspective.
Or maybe you're ready to sit down with a working literary manager, discuss your material, and get a better understanding of how the industry works.
NOVA Talent Group offers three literary consulting experiences designed to help writers strengthen their material, understand the marketplace, and take the next step in their creative careers.
Your story. Your goals. Your next move.
IGNITION
First 15 Pages Evaluation
$75 | First 15 Pages | Written Feedback
Every great story starts with a spark. Make sure yours ignites.
You've spent countless hours working on your screenplay. But are those first 15 pages doing their job?
Are your characters compelling? Does your opening grab attention? And most importantly, would an industry reader want to keep reading?
IGNITION gives you an honest, professional assessment of your screenplay's opening pages from the perspective of a working literary manager.
We'll take a close look at your opening hook, character introductions, dialogue, pacing, tone, and scene construction.
We'll identify what's working, point out what might be holding your opening back, and provide specific, actionable suggestions to make those first 15 pages as strong as possible.
Because in this industry, sometimes you only get 15 pages to make an impression.
What You'll Receive:Approximately 1–2 pages of personalized written feedback, including strengths, areas for improvement, and recommendations for your next draft.
Maybe you've gotten feedback from friends, writing groups, or fellow screenwriters.
But have you ever wondered how your script would hold up when it lands on the desk of an industry professional?
ORBIT gives you a comprehensive evaluation of your screenplay from the perspective of an active literary manager who regularly reads, develops, and pitches material in the entertainment industry.
We'll examine your story, structure, characters, dialogue, pacing, and overall execution. We'll identify what's working, what needs attention, and how your material might fit into today's entertainment marketplace.
The goal isn't simply to tell you whether your script is good or bad. It's to help you understand why certain elements are working, where the material could be stronger, and what you can do to take your next draft to another level.
What You'll Receive: Approximately 3–5 pages of professional written coverage, including a logline, brief synopsis, story and character analysis, development notes, commercial considerations, and an overall assessment of your screenplay.
$250 | Full Screenplay Read + 30-Minute Private One-on-One
Standard Rate: $250
Your story. Your career. A meeting of minds.
RENDEZVOUS is NOVA Talent Group’s most in-depth literary consultation.
Ever wondered what it's like to sit down with a working literary manager and talk about your writing?
RENDEZVOUS gives you that opportunity.
In space exploration, a rendezvous is the moment two spacecraft meet in orbit. At NOVA Talent Group, it's where your creative vision meets professional industry insight.
Before we meet, your screenplay will be read in full by a NOVA Talent Group literary manager.
Then we'll sit down for a private 30-minute Zoom meeting to discuss your material, your creative vision, and where you want to take your writing career.
There's no predetermined curriculum or rigid agenda. This is your opportunity to have a conversation with someone who actively develops scripts, evaluates material, and works with writers to navigate the entertainment industry.
Want to talk about your screenplay's strengths and weaknesses? We can do that.
Curious about how your material might be received by producers, managers, or buyers? Let's discuss it.
Have questions about breaking into the industry, finding representation, or figuring out your next steps as a writer? Bring them.
The meeting is designed to reflect the kind of general conversations literary managers regularly have with writers.
Sometimes you don't need another set of written notes. You need someone who understands the business to sit down with you, discuss your work, and help you see the bigger picture.
That's RENDEZVOUS.
What You'll Receive: A full screenplay read in advance, followed by a private 30-minute Zoom meeting with a NOVA literary manager to discuss your material, career goals, and questions about the industry. Written coverage is not included.
Scheduling: Meetings require a 7 day advance notice to allow for screenplay review.
These are three different ways to work with NOVA, not levels you have to complete in order.
There are no prerequisites, no required progression from one service to another, and you never have to purchase one service to access another.
If you're working on your opening pages and want to make a stronger first impression, choose IGNITION.
If you've completed a screenplay and want comprehensive written feedback, ORBIT may be the right fit.
And if you're looking for a more personal conversation about your screenplay, creative goals, and career direction, RENDEZVOUS offers the opportunity to connect directly with a working literary manager.
Your story. Your goals. Your next move.
Choose the experience that makes the most sense for you.
And if one NOVA experience leads you to realize you’d benefit from another, it’s there when you’re ready.
